Espaços e Achados (meaning Spaces and Finds) is a platform created to celebrate the finest offerings in hospitality, design, lifestyle and real estate across Portugal and the creative and entrepreneurial forces behind the country’s contemporary cultural landscape.
Meet the Founder
Espaços e Achados was founded by Elizabeth Gaffney, a creative entrepreneur who relocated from London to Lisbon in 2022.
With a background in fashion, branding and PR, Elizabeth is passionate about design and learning about the stories behind people and places. Highly intuitive with an innate radar for quality and trends, she has several years of experience in styling and sourcing homeware and property for clients from all over the world.
Having grown up across the UK, Canada and Ireland, Elizabeth is a natural explorer and the vision for a platform through which she could share her finds emerged. Through Espaços e Achados, not only does she wish to help people discover great places to stay and visit across Portugal but she also has the mission to celebrate and honour the creative forces and visionaries behind the businesses that have inspired and welcomed her so warmly to the country she feels blessed to call home.
